Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, an 87-year old Colossus today, having in its fold, institutions of eminence, engaged in a wide range of activities to promote, nurture and perpetuate the quintessential gems of Indian Culture. Bhavan was founded by Kulapati K.M.Munshiji, an eminent Lawyer, Statesman, Journalist and a much-venerated Author, in the year 1938. Headquartered in Mumbai, Bhavan carries on its mission of promoting the values of the best of Indian culture, including dharmic thought, history, epigraphy, puranas, scriptures and so on, through its 130 Kendras (Centres) right through Agartala, Tripura in the extreme North East, to Wayanad, Kerala, in the South of India and 8 Centers abroad. There are some 200+ constituent educational institutions of Bhavan, recognized as being some of the finest Colleges and Schools in India.
